I’m not going to say much about this track. I don’t need to.
Last June, Cousin Stizz dropped his debut record in “Life.” A little over a year later, and he’s arguably one of the most promising up-and-comers in hip-hop, having amassed just under two million streams on Soundcloud to date.
It’s no longer a secret that there’s young talent in Boston, and lots of it. Big Leano was announced earlier this month as one of just two openers on Stizz’s first headlining show in the city—which proceeded to completely sell out in three days—but he didn’t have a single song released… until now.
“Muddy Sip,” produced by DREAVELI, is Leano’s very first offering, and one that is sure to ring bells loud and clear at the Middle East two weeks from today. It remains to be seen how the coming months will play out for Leano, but listeners will be hard pressed to say he didn’t start off on the right foot with “Muddy Sip.”
Bang this one loud. Stay tuned for more.
