I didn’t necessarily think “Sweeterman” was a fluke record, but “P2P” is confirmation that it wasn’t, and that Ramriddlz and Jaegen have promised to never stop going in. The singer/producer pair is further strengthening Toronto’s relatively newfound reputation for contributing a unique sound (in a mysterious manner) to the current hip-hop/R&B sphere. This new single carries a significantly more serious tone than the borderline-viral “Sweeterman,” but you can certainly tell that the same artists are behind it.
Very curious to see where they take it from here, but for now, enjoy “P2P” below. Stay tuned for more.
