[VIDEO]: Avenue – “Spilt Milk”

With his long-awaited Chandelier View project arriving in just a few days (May 19th), Avenue drops one last visual in the form of the Ryan Schaefer-directed “Spilt Milk.”

There’s nothing flashy about this one, but off one listen, it’s clear that’s the whole point of the metaphor. The video finds Ave in the heart of his Boston neighborhood telling the tale of how no matter what happens, “it ain’t no crying over spilt milk,” and “if you from where I’m from then you gotta have it, cause niggas dying every day around here.” It’s the type of song that grows on you the closer you pay attention to the message, and the blue and red accents highlighting the otherwise greyscale visual give even more context to the record.

Watch above, and stay tuned for more.
