Darryl McDaniels – better known as DMC of legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC – recently called into The College Blueprint to talk about his role as campaign ambassador of the partnership between Lucky Strike and the Conquer Cancer Coalition.
He briefly touches on how the issue is close to his heart, having a father who passed away as a result of the disease. The rest of the interview, though, DMC reflects on his experience in hip-hop and his frustration with the “show business” aspect of the culture.
