[New Music]: Grip Plyaz – Ray Lewis (Prod. by The Flush)

I need to hear this in a club yesterday. Atlanta’s Grip Plyaz dropped this new track called “Ray Lewis” last week with the help of a Fader premiere, and I haven’t been able to get the hook out of my head since.

This is one of those joints you don’t necessarily have an explanation for why you like it so much… you just do. The hard-hitting production – handled by The Flush – is twisted and raw, providing the perfect canvas for Grip’s character-driven, patiently-delivered rhymes. “Ray Lewis” is bold and unapologetic, and I’ve got no complaints about that.

Gotta give a nod to JDirrt on spreading the good “Ray Lewis” word. He’s got an ear for a hit (he gave the world a heads up about this one once upon a time), and he’s right on the money with this one too.

Stream “Ray Lewis” below, and stay tuned for much more.
